Post-doc position in sensory/cognitive aging, University of Montreal

University of Montreal – Position for Post-doctoral Fellow “The interactions of sensory, cognitive, and social factors and their influence on the health and quality of life of older Canadians”: A study based on the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging.

The goal of our research team is to study sensory and cognitive aging, and links to health, wellbeing and social participation. The team of faculty researchers, under the administrative leadership of Professor Walter Wittich at the University of Montreal, will co-supervise the postdoctoral fellow in analyzing the CLSA dataset. This post-doctoral position will consist of interactions with team experts who have a broad base of expertise and are located across the country. The post-doctoral experience will include interdisciplinary networking through teleconferencing and in-person meetings.

Study on Aging (CLSA, https://www.clsa-elcv.ca/). The principal supervisors of this postdoctoral research opportunity include members of Team 17 - Interventions at the Sensory- Cognitive Interface, part of the Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA, http://ccna-ccnv.ca/en/).

Start Date: The position will begin between July 1st and November 1st 2017 for a period of 12 months.
