PhD position project cardiovascular disease risk in women
Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences/VU Amsterdam
(deadline september 10 2017)
There is a lack of information on cardiovascular disease risk in women from different ethnic groups. This gap is widely acknowledged in guidelines for the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Our project aims to generate the evidence that is needed to determine how CVD prevention for women may be improved. We will investigate the risk of cardiovascular according to sex, gender and ethnicity and study biological and socio-cultural factors that drive the differences between groups.
For this project, we are recruiting a PhD student.
