The VU University Library has scheduled new sessions for the training ‘Writing a Data Management Plan’ for PhD students affiliated at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. In this training, you will learn how to write a good Data Management Plan (DMP), in which you will cover issues like which laws and codes of conduct your research should comply with, where you will store your data, where you will archive them for the long term and how you will make them FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Many funding agencies nowadays request a DMP. In addition, all researchers at VUmc will have to write a DMP in the near future. This training can help you setting up a Research DMP for your own research project. The training is worth 1 EC if you complete all compulsory components.
