Training Research Data Management
The VU University Library is organizing a new training on Research Data Management for PhD students affiliated at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. The first training will take place on October 18, 2018. If you would like to participate, please register as soon as possible. The deadline for registration is October 2 (see below for more information on registration).
In this training, you will learn how to write a good Research Data Management Plan (DMP), in which you will cover issues like which laws and codes of conduct your research should comply with, where you will store your data, where you will archive them for the long term and how you will make them FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Many funding agencies nowadays request a Research DMP. In addition, all researchers at VUmc will have to write a DMP in the near future. This training can help you setting up a Research DMP for your own research project. The training is worth 1 EC if you complete all compulsory components. More information and registration: VUmc PhD Portal (select ‘Writing a Data Management Plan’). If you have questions about this training, please get in touch with email@example.com.
