Research grant from the SEW Foundation for Emiel Hoogendijk

APH researcher Emiel Hoogendijk received a research grant of €100k from the SEW Foundation. This grant will fund a 2-year research project on frailty and vitality among the oldest old (aged 75+), using data from the Longitudinal Aging Study Amsterdam. The project will investigate, amongst others, predictors of frailty and vitality.

Co-applicants are Simone de Bruin and Caroline Baan from the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM), Hein van Hout from the Department of General Practice & Elderly Care Medicine (Amsterdam UMC – location VUmc), and Martijn Huisman from the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics (Amsterdam UMC – location VUmc).
