Recap International Seminar on ‘Policy Development in Personalized Medicine’

On March 15 the Section Community Genetics of the Department of Clinical Genetics co-organised an International Seminar on ‘Policy Development in Personalized Medicine’

The Seminar was part of the Personalized pREvention of Chronic DIseases consortium (PRECeDI) project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research and Innovation Staff Exchange) under the grant agreement N°645740.
Speakers from the EU and Canada discussed the promise of genomics in personalized medicine, prioritization of useful applications in genomic screening and strategies for integrating personalized medicine in  health systems. A round table was organized and a lively discussion took place between participants including members of the APH program Personalized Medicine and Quality of Care.
