Together with Prof. Martine de Bruijne, Director, and Dr Dionne Kringos, Vice-Director, Prof. Carlo Schuengel will lead the institute in the coming period. Carlo: “I have always been a big fan of the ideas on which APH was founded. The recent changes that we see in our field, both at a national as well as international level, attest to the foresight that the founders of APH had. It is a privilege to be part of the team that builds on these ideas so that our research will be as strong and relevant as ever.”

Prof. Carlo Schuengel has been Associate Dean Research at the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since 2012 and this will end in June 2019. At this Faculty he is leader of the Clinical Child & Family Studies section.
