Together with the APH Scientific Quality Committee we are further shaping a quality system for APH as whole in a more systematic way, building on existing facilities and on what has been achieved in terms of quality within all institutions involved in APH in recent years. Furthermore, we want facilitate the culture of continuous improvement and transparency by formulating several quality assurance processes.
One of the reasons why this is important for our institute, is that the existing infrastructure (from our parenting organization) is very fragmented. And not always applicable to the research done by our researchers (e.g. nWMO-applicable research).
The fundamental principles of the quality and integrity policy of APH, as well as the commitment of the leadership, is outlined in the Quality Systems Master Plan (QSMP). To promote that this plan is widely supported by the research programs and the departments involved in APH and that all researchers within APH can identify with it, we organize an open consultation round in which we invite all the head of departments, program leaders and program council members involved in APH to provide feedback and guidance on the plan. The invitation for the consultation will be send out this week.
Furthermore, we are still looking for enthusiastic researchers that are interested to join the Scientific Quality Committee. Please contact Seta Jahfari for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
