Mai Chin A Paw in LINDA.nl: Five tips to increase the amount of movement of adolescents

APH researcher Mai Chin A Paw is human movement scientist and professor of the Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. The amount of movement of adolescents decreases after they enter high school. On LINDA.nl she explains why it is so important for young people to move daily. “Movement leads to a happier life, you’ll get fit, your bone strength will increase, your social contacts will increase and you’ll sleep better”.

A recently published research revealed that the motor system of primary school children has decreased over the last years. Sports can help to increase the development in this period.
