April 7th 2020: APH Spring Meeting 2020 on 'Implementation'

On April 7th 2020 the Amsterdam Public Health research institute will organize its 3rd Spring Meeting at Rosarium Amsterdam.

This year’s plenary session of the APH Spring Meeting will be hosted by the Societal Participation & Health program. Program leaders Professor Allard van der Beek and Dr Angela de Boer will open the session. The chair of the day is Dr Paul Kuijer.

The theme of the Spring Meeting is ‘Implementation’ and we will have two outstanding keynote speakers who are experts on this topic.
Professor Michel Wensing from Heidelberg University, Germany will speak about the Why of Implementation. Dr Femke van Nassau from Amsterdam UMC will speak about the How of Implementation. After the keynote presentations we will continue with an interactive reflection with practice partners on the two presentations, in order to bridge the gap between research and practice. At the end of the plenary session three junior researchers will pitch about tackling their implementation problem and will compete for the APH Implementation Award 2020. They will present which stakeholders were involved, how they tackled or will tackle the problem, and whether this has worked or not.

The plenary session will be followed by parallel program sessions.
