APH researcher Vincent Blijleven wins the BAZIS prize for research in the fields of Medical Informatics and Public Health at a Dutch University

APH researcher Vincent Blijleven, former PhD student of Prof. Monique Jaspers, won the BAZIS prize 2017-2018 for the best PhD research in the fields of Medical Informatics and Public Health at a Dutch University. Blijleven used a socio-technological approach for the analysis of workarounds resulting from the use of Electronic Patient Records. He then developed a model to classify and prioritize these workarounds. The prize is awarded once every two years and amounts to 3000 euros. An article from his dissertation was previously selected as the best publication for the International Medical Informatics Association's Yearbook.
