We would like to invite you to the 13th edition of the Science Exchange Day that will take place on Friday, 27th of September 2019 at the Amstel Lecture Theatre, VUmc.
This is the first edition since the alliance between VUmc and AMC, and we proudly announce that the event will be organized by and for researchers of both locations of the Amsterdam UMC. Therefore, it will be an unique opportunity to present your research, expand your network and get involved in interesting discussions with fellow researchers from research institutes of both locations.
Unlike past editions, the program is held in the afternoon only and focuses more on social activities and getting to know each other more (little hint to the theme of the day that will be announced soon). There will still be abstract and poster pitch competitions, presentations by research institutes representatives, and inspiring keynote speakers.
We also want to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission and speaker suggestions is extended until the 10th of July. You can find all the information and instructions to do this on the website. If you want to visit the event, present a poster or give an oral presentation as a research institutes representative, you need to register for the event via http://rcl.ink/I9B. Registration will be open until the 26th of September.
This year, we are looking forward to welcoming Gildeprint (www.Gildeprint.nl) during the SED. They have 35 years of experience in the printing of theses and other publications in book form. Visit their booth and get inspired by all the possibilities to personalize and refine your work. You can ask for advice on design or draw up a planning with them.
Finally, don’t forget to keep an eye on the website. We will be announcing our first keynote speaker on our theme “Social media & Science” very soon!
We are looking forward to see you all on the 13th edition of the SED, Friday the 27th of September 2019 at the Amstel Lecture Theatre, VUmc.
On behalf of the SED2019 organizing committee,
