Meet the cohorts!
Most epidemiologists spend their time on studying datasets. Cohort studies are important resources to study associations of your interest. In the Netherlands alone, there are plenty of nice ongoing cohort studies focused on different predictors and outcomes. Do you know them all?
We are proud to announce the contributions of four Dutch cohort studies: the Maastricht Study, the Doetinchem Cohort Study, Geoscience and Health Cohort Consortium (GECCO) and Prevention and Incidence of Asthma and Mite Allergy (PIAMA). The contribution of each cohort study consists of a presentation from both a senior and junior investigator.
The meet and greet with the representatives from these cohort studies is a great opportunity to ask questions and to figure out whether this work might be something for you.
We invite all junior epidemiologists (master students, PhD candidates, postdocs and everyone interested in epidemiology) to the fall event for junior epidemiologists: Meet the cohorts!
