Sign up through the Library Event Calendar
The next session of the training ‘Writing a Data Management Plan’ for PhD students affiliated at Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc is scheduled for November 12 (for clinical research). Places are still available in this training. The deadline for registration is October 22 (see below for more information on registration).
In this training, you will learn how to write a good Data Management Plan (DMP), in which you will cover issues like which laws and codes of conduct your research should comply with, where you will store your data, where you will archive them for the long term and how you will make them FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). Many funding agencies nowadays request a Research DMP. In addition, all researchers at VUmc will have to write a DMP, irrespective of where they get their funding. This training can help you setting up a DMP for your own research project. Please note that you need to do some preparations before the workshop, including writing a first draft of your DMP. You will receive more information shortly after the registrations have closed. The training is worth 1 EC if you complete all compulsory components.
More information about the course can be found on the VUmc PhD Portal (bottom of that webpage). You can sign up through the Library Event Calendar (select the right course there). If you have questions about this training, please get in touch with email@example.com.
