We welcome you to our ‘Muscle Clocks and Diabetes symposium, which will take place 14 – 16 May 2019 in Amsterdam. This meeting is organized to share and discuss with you the results of our ZonMW TOP project ‘Circadian Rhythm of Muscle Mitochondrial Metabolism’ and will be held in the Singel Mennonite Church located on the Singel Canal No. 452 in the center of Amsterdam. The Singel Church has been a meeting house for the Mennonite congregation since 1608.
We have an exciting scientific program lined up, with several opportunities for oral and poster communications of your research. The interaction between Muscle clocks, mitochondria and diabetes is addressed in 6 sessions:
1. Muscle clocks and diabetes
2. Mitochondria and diabetes
3. Clocks, lifestyle and diabetes
4. Hypothalamic clocks, insulin resistance & energy metabolism
5. Hypothalamus, Nutrition and Inflammation
6. Circadian control and mito dynamics
The ‘Muscle Clocks and Diabetes’ symposium will be an excellent opportunity to promote your research, network with early career researchers in the field and enjoy the Amsterdam social scene.
Finally, although we cannot guarantee good weather, we are sure that the quality and variety of the scientific program together with the social program will make this a meeting to enjoy and remember.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Amsterdam. More information can be found in the flyer or the website.
