PhD Award for Mattijs Alsem

At the annual Dutch Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine held in Groningen on November 8 and 9, 2018,  AMC pediatric rehabilitation physician Mattijs Alsem won the PhD Award Rehabilitation Medicine. The award is granted to the best and most engaging thesis of the past year, according to the jury consisting of 4 rehabilitation physicians and scientists. Mattijs defended the thesis called ‘Family needs and the role of information in paediatric rehabilitation care’ at Utrecht University on July 10, 2018.
