Finalists in the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award 2017

Among the ten finalists in the Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award 2017 are three AMS members with their projects:

Ben van Oeveren (FGB/VU), has been nominated for his project Move Metrics. Move Metrics is a cloud based analytical tool to support runners to interpret their training sessions.

Marieke van der Schaaf and Juultje Sommers (both AMC), have been nominated with their project First steps to recovery: The ICU Mill: a smart, simple and safe solution for rehabilitation in acute care, aimed at improving the recovery of walking ability for patients in Intensive Care Units (ICU).

The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award is an annual competition for the most innovative idea resulting from scientific research which has a social and/or commercial application. The Amsterdam Science & Innovation Award is organised by Innovation Exchange Amsterdam (IXA).
