Wanted: PhD candidate for a new project on anti-tick vaccines to prevent Lyme disease

PhD wanted - preference for a biomedical scientists - for a new project on anti-tick vaccines to prevent Lyme disease

It entails expression of proteins in Eukaryote expression systems, unraveling their function in vitro and in vivo (mice) and testing the candidates as antigens for anti-tick vaccines in our established tick-Borrelia-mouse model. The work elaborates on data generated through a previous project funded by the AMC Foundation and ANTIDotE, the European collaborative project on anti-tick vaccines.
The candidate will work closely together with one of my post-docs (cc) and a biotechnician.
