AMC Graduate School PhD Course: Infectious Diseases

On December 18, 19, 20 and 22, 2017 the Infectious Diseases course is held at the AMC. This course aims to inform PhD candidates about major infectious diseases, including those that may not be within the scope of their own research. The course covers all aspects of infectious diseases with a strong focus on public health issues, host pathogen interactions, poverty related communicable diseases and basic research. The study load is 36 hours (1.3 ECTS) and if you attend all lectures you will receive a certificate. This course runs once a year on four (almost) consecutive days and consists of lectures given by well-known researchers from the AMC and elsewhere.

It is now possible for VUmc PhD candidates within the Amsterdam Infection & Immunity Research Institute to attend this course without paying the “external” fee of €1250!

However registration is slightly different. You can find more information about the course on the website of the AMC Graduate School, but to avoid the “external” fee, you need to register here.

Registration deadline is November 24th, 2017. Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
